  • $30 (nonrefundable) application fee 
  • GRE Scores (Verbal, Quantitative, and the Advanced score in Psychology) 
    We encourage the applicant to take the GRE as soon as possible to allow time for processing and mailing. 
  • Two (2) official transcripts from each institution attended The overall grade point average, as determined by the Graduate College on the basis of official transcripts, is used in the evaluation of each application.

  • Three (3) letters of recommendation 
    If the applicant is currently enrolled in a graduate program, letters of recommendation should be solicited from both the undergraduate and graduate institutions. Each reference should be informed that he or she is to give the signed recommendation to the applicant in a sealed envelope with the recommender’s signature across the envelope flap.

Financial Support

Students receive generous stipends, as well as full tuition and fee waivers. Support for student research is provided by the I-O area, the psychology department, the Institute for Psychological Research and Application (IPRA), and the university. The I-O area and the department also provide generous funding for conference travel so that students may present the results of their own research as well as benefit from the work of contemporaries.
